"Power Drift Nation"

Speechless... Can nearly describe what i am over Cassette Playas latest offering for 2010 "Power Drift Nation". The last couple of years has seen Carri take us on a crazy trip travelling from the depths of the Amazon, through the football crazed streets of London, too where she lay now in the deserts of Middle East. Arabic characters, women lying on pimped cars, colours of the sunset and cobra's adorn the digitally printed silk, lycra and woven badges.

The usual polos, button ups, t-shirts, jackets, jumpers and shorts are the basics for the range but this time somthing a little different. CP have provided for the ladies with leggins a digital print dress and as far as i can tell a couple of other small pieces (wait and see).

The collection has recently been shown in New York and is due for release in the coming months. Unfortunately the ranges never seem to be picked up in there entirety and even more horrifying Australia never seems to get the digital prints (at $490 i can only guess why).

Thomas Manaton helped with the prints for "Power Drift Nation", he has also worked with Carri previously and definitely deserves a mention these prints rock shi^.
Even If we can't afford it, we love to look at it. Cassette Playa, we love you... Can't wait to see more.
Check out the amazing video done for the range by weirdcore here... So so cool.
